PURPOSE: Create a graphic for a shirt to honor Lt. Michael "Murph" Murphy
APPLICATION: T-Shirts/Pullovers/Singlets (Tank Tops)

When CrossFit Boro reached out to us we were thrilled to work with them again. When they asked us to come up with a "Murph" design for a Memorial Day event they were planning, we were even more ecstatic. Lt. Michael Murphy is extremely well known in the CrossFit Community and among U.S. military enthusiasts. A Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, Lt. Michael Murphy is widely regarded as an American hero for his accomplishment and leadership during the war in Afghanistan.

As a result, both the Military and CrossFit communities perform a "Hero Workout" (typically on Memorial Day) in his honor. It is a particularly grueling workout, yet if you ask many US servicemen or those who were fortunate to know "Murph" personally they'll say: "this wasn't a 'Hero workout' or an 'epic workout,' [for Murph] this was a Wednesday. He never stopped, didn't take breaks..."

For thee graphic, we wanted to pay homage to both Murph's service and military status, as well as incorporate the workout named in his honor. We incorporated anchor, trident, and eagle icons in recognition of the Navy Seal emblem
