CLIENT: BRICK Sport Performance Training
PURPOSE: Create a graphic for the intra-gym competition taking place during the CrossFit Open
APPLICATION: T-Shirts/Singlets, Print Promo Material

The chiefs at BRICK HQ reached out to me to create a graphic for their annual intra-gym competition that coincides with the CrossFit Open. Members at each location are separated into teams and compete on frequency of attendance as well as overall leaderboard standings.

Each year BRICK changes up the theme of the competition. As the graphic reads, this years theme was "War of the Gods." This years teams were based on 5 of the main Greek gods: Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, Artemis, and Apollo. Initially, I created a different graphic for each team by combining old etching graphics of each god with a modern, iconic representation of their "power" in an overlay style. My reasoning for this was to give the shirts a more street wear appeal. I find that often times with event shirts they are worn once and then largely discarded immediately following the event. I felt that a more modern, street wear inspired design with minimal branding would allow for more prolonged wear.
