Apparel - KHALIPA BRAZIL TOUR

CLIENT: NC FIT/PROGENEX/Jason Khalipa
PURPOSE: Create a graphic for a jersey/shirt to be sold "on tour"
APPLICATION: T-Shirts/Singlets (Tank Tops)

We were contacted by CrossFit Athlete Jason Khalipa to re-design a shirt concept for his upcoming trip to Brazil. Jason would be traveling to Sao Paulo and Brasilia for a couple business seminars and a few workout sessions in between.

The design brief was pretty open ended; Jason sent over an initial concept he received and asked us if he could spice it up a bit.

Seeing as Jason would be traveling to Sao Paulo, for our first concept (see below), we drew inspiration from Sao Paulo FC's iconic kit: a black and red stripe separated by a thin gap with the club's crest in the center.

The back graphic was a lot of fun to work on. We are big fans of street art, especially in Brazil. As a result, we drew inspiration from renowned Braziliab Street Artists such as BrunoBig, Gatuno, and Wark Rocinha. Click through the images below for the graphic development and details!
