CLIENT: United Natives (Bay Natives)
PURPOSE: Create a SF, Bay Area focused graphic for apparel
APPLICATION: T-Shirts, Apparel

This design was created for an upcoming lifestyle brand, "United Natives." The company initially started out as "Bay Natives," but after several brand strategy meetings, we chose to move in a direction that would allow us to expand beyond just the San Francisco Bay Area.

This design is inspired by the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. We wanted to avoid creating a design that has been done before or felt "familiar." As a result, we came up with this stylized, minimalist depiction of the golden gate bridge. The inclusion of the sun is meant to pay homage to the one-of-a-kind California sunsets. By isolating the bridge and sun lines we were also created an icon for the brand that could be utilized in instances where the full logotype would be unnecessary; i.e. small apparel application, small digital application, social media profile pictures, etc.
