CLIENT: Lift Her Podcast
PROJECT: Logo design
BRIEF: "highlight women in the CrossFit community beyond just workouts. Women entrepreneurs, affiliate owners, coaches, etc..."

For this project there wasn't too much direction to start with (my favorite kind of project starts :), which allowed me to have a ton of creative freedom. As it turns out, I let me creativity frolic a bit too freely and had to be toned down a bit. After submitting some initial concepts the client let me know that they were looking for something much simpler and "cleaner." They were also looking for "something more girlie...but not TOO girlie." Challenge accepted...

Once this was established, the client sent over a sample idea that they had worked on which was mostly text based and utilized a prominent rhombus design. For my next round of concepts I built on these ideas and incorporated a microphone icon to touch on the podcast aspect of the project. After that it was merely a matter of finding the right font and color combination(s).
